Ingleborough and Park Fell just peeking over the cracked Limestone brow of Moughton Scar, at Crummackdale in the Yorkshire Dales. Another lesson learned.... Never wear shorts in the Yorkshire Dales. The clouds will re-align and it will inevitably start chucking it down. I started the walk up in very pleasant summer conditions. Blue sky, white fluffy clouds etc, and the intention was to photograph a hopefully decent sunset. After about a mile and a half, also known as the point of no return, in rolled the heavy black clouds. Luckily I did manage to fire off one or two images before the evenings waterboarding session began.
