Limestone pavements and windswept lone trees are synonymous with the Yorkshire Dales. This one is actually just outside the boundary of the national park, but if you face the right direction, you can still clearly see the profile of Ingleborough in the distance. You can just see the peak through a gap in the branches of the tree. This was actually an autumn image, shot with all the fireworks of a colourful sunset going off at my back.
