Peak autumn colours at Hardcastle Crags near Heptonstall, Calderdale create a tunnel effect around the footpath. I can't think of many better places in West Yorkshire, and even further afield to take a walk through the woods in autumn. It is a fantastic location for landscape photography, and one of those areas that you always return from with something new. The footpath was photographed with a short telephoto lens to slightly compress the view.
