Photography Workshops Northumberland Coast

Northumberland, the most northerly and least populated County in England, is a land of great historical importance. Stretching from the Scottish borders to Hadrians Wall, and encompassing not one, but two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Northumberland has some of the most spectacular unspoiled coastline, (39 miles in total) to be found anywhere in the UK. The area has seen a turbulent past, which is evidenced by the numerous castles along the coastline and its boundaries and territories have changed ownership between England and Scotland on several occasions throughout history. With its vast expanses of dune-fringed beaches and its many dramatic castles providing the perfect backdrop, Northumberland is somewhat of a mecca to landscape photographers and it’s difficult not to be creatively inspired by both the sheer beauty and the historical significance of the area. Landcsape photography workshops, courses and tuition take place in Northumberland at all times of year. Some of the locations we may photograph include Embleton Beach and Dunstanburgh Castle, Bamburgh Beach and Bamburgh Castle, Howick, Craster, The Holy Island of Lindisfarne and Lindisfarne Castle, Budle Bay and Beadnell.
