Sparrowhawk

Male Sparrowhawk. An image from a fantastic day at the Leeds Wildlife Photography hide at Metheley, Leeds. After three or four failed strikes at the resident birds which were congregated around the reflection pool, this male Sparrowhawk decided to take a break from hunting and landed right in front of us.
