The landscape doesn't get any more archetypal Yorkshire Dales than here at Gunnerside in Swaledale. The dry stone walls weave a criss cross pattern across the fields, and there's a stone field barn at just about every other junction. I wanted to focus all attention to the interesting patterns created by the walls and barns, so decided to exclude the sky.
