Buttertubs Mist - Swaledale

Patches of mist clinging to the hillside beside Buttertubs Pass on the way down to Swaledale. This is definitely one of those images that benefitted greatly from the conditions. The view down Buttertubs to Swaledale is very nice, but it had never inspired me enough to photograph it, until this particular morning. The mist provided the contrast, and a 70-200mm lens provided the compressed perspective between the layered hills.
